Farmer’s Fix, a San Diego salad delivery company, offers weekly subscriptions of delicious and nutritious salads delivered directly to homes or offices. The salads are handmade in small batches every week using fresh, locally sourced ingredients. Each salad is $10 and delivered weekly to customers’ doorsteps in reusable insulated bags with icepacks, staying fresh regardless of whether they are home to receive it.

Opened June 2016 on Adams Avenue, Beerfish offers traditional and novel seafood dishes including clam chowder bread bowls, Alaskan Cod n’ chips in a Fall Brewing batter, brown butter lobster rolls, seasonal catch of the day, a new “Crab BLT” sandwich, clam toast, crispy oyster sliders and more. With plans to open its doors in early April, the multi-level Mexican kitchen and game lounge, Curadero, has completed its stellar opening team with the addition of bartender Jade Boyd. Boyd, who most recently worked behind the bar at Juniper & Ivy, joins Curadero to implement a beverage program that pairs with Chef Brad Kraten’s soulful, coastal Mexican cuisine. With a focus on service and drinks that are made with fresh ingredients and quality spirits, the menus will incorporate Boyd’s knack for creating simple, strong and balanced cocktails that are delicious to drink.
