San Diego’s fastest growing breakfast concept, Breakfast Republic, opened their doors in Ocean Beach today!
Known for their extensive menu incorporating innovative and classic breakfast foods, branded décor and humor-cracking signage, this is the brand’s fifth location since opening in summer 2015, second to open in 2017.
Little Italy’s Loading Dock, San Diego’s newest neighborhood bar and grill and event center located in Little Italy, opened in March. The 21 and over family-owned bar and grill is a casual and friendly atmosphere offering affordable, casual BBQ-style fare, San Diego craft beer options, wine, simple cocktails and the “Unloading Hour” special happy hour menu. The event center offers private parties for 20-220 people for all occasions. Little Italy’s Loading Dock creates a space to retreat to after a long week, a fun night out, or before a flight.
Co-founder of Little Italy’s Bracero Cocina de Raiz, Luis Pena enjoys a change of scenarios and new challenges in the kitchen. This “switch-it-up” mentality, along with the support of his dedicated clientele has inspired him to accept the transformation of Bracero restaurant to Romesco Mexiterranean Cocina. Early June Pena will bring the same taste, style and atmosphere of his 13-year-old renowned Bonita restaurant, Romesco Mexiterranean Bistro, to downtown San Diego.
Romesco MexiterraneanCocina will offer an inspired fusion of Mexican flavors, along with those of many Mediterranean countries. With this revamped menu, guests will enjoy a wide variety of dishes.
Now open at 926 Broadway Circle, Tapas & Beers is set to take guests’ taste buds on a trip to Spain. Small plates and craft beer mixes traditional cuisines of the Spanish Peninsula with some of America’s Finest City’s finest beers and classic eats. Owners Francois Patanchon and Gaelle Vincent were inspired by the culture and vibrancy of the country and wanted to bring that energy to Southern California.
