Co-founder of Little Italy’s Bracero Cocina de Raiz, Luis Pena enjoys a change of scenarios and new challenges in the kitchen. This “switch-it-up” mentality, along with the support of his dedicated clientele has inspired him to accept the transformation of Bracero restaurant to Romesco Mexiterranean Cocina. Early June Pena will bring the same taste, style and atmosphere of his 13-year-old renowned Bonita restaurant, Romesco Mexiterranean Bistro, to downtown San Diego.
Romesco Mexiterranean Cocina will offer an inspired fusion of Mexican flavors, along with those of many Mediterranean countries. With this revamped menu, guests will enjoy a wide variety of dishes.
